History of the busby

A common military head-dress made from fur, a busby is popular amongst many regiments accross the world. Although many dictionaries state that the English were the first to make use of the busby, various sources suggest it's origin is believed to be from Hungarian cavalry known as hussars. All over the world busbies are easily recognizable with their distinctive height and size. Traditionally busbies will be black in colour and have a stripe which stretches around the entire face.
